A Little About Me

I started doing wood burnings as a hobby, just as gifts for friends birthdays and Christmas. Later on I started to put my art in the local general store as well as a few other local shops. As they sold I started to expand my ambitions. I have wood burned furniture for a local pine furniture store and have now expanded to selling some wood burned furniture lines myself. The following pages display the different styles of the products I wood burn. There is a variety of patterns, styles and pictures to choose from, as well any of these pieces can be personalized at a drop of a hat. I specialize in creating and designing art work that will accent as well as enhance the decorum of your home and the room that it is in. My wood burnings add warmth to the room and make great conversation pieces.

People have asked me at different shows where do I get my inspiration from. Its simple really, "Every Where". I find the best inspiration however is other people. Alot of times someone will say something or do something and it will set my artistic mind ablaze. It drives my friends nuts some days. For we will be out playing darts or at an archery shoot or even just hanging out and bang, my mind is on wood burning and some new idea for my next piece. I will now have a new inspiration this winter for wood burning as I have taken up a new hobby, Dog Sled Racing.

My favorite to wood burn is Portraits on many different wood products. Such as Wedding Pictures onto plaques, Engagement Pictures onto keepsake boxes, or if you have a Hunter in the family and would like to to have him/her with their prize kill burned onto a commemorative plate. Anything is possible. I love how alive and warm these portraits can look and to see how each different piece that they are wood burned on to can add and compliment the portrait.

Every so often I like to try and add new additions to the wood products that I wood burn and so I would like to invite you to periodicly come back and see what new art work is now available. Even if you don't see a new page added to the list on the left that doesn't mean I haven't added something. It just may be on an already existing page. Also if you can think of something that you would like to see wood burned then please feel free to write to me and let me know. I am always open to new ideas and suggestions.

The Wildlife Winter Feeding Program Inc was established in the mid 1960's and has been providing feed to over 250 volunteer yards throughout the districts of Muskoka, Parry Sound, Haliburton and Nipissing.
